Analytics Developer — AAH Pharmaceuticals

My first role at AAH, and where I got proper exposure to a modern data stack in a fast-paced commercial environment. Coming from local government, the scale and commercial stakes were different — more products, more stakeholders, tighter feedback loops.

• Automated competitor price list ingestion using Python, piping the output into a Power BI Dataflow for regular updates. This saved the commercial team hours every week and made data pulls that were previously infeasible a routine part of their workflow.

• Supported commercial and pricing analysts with Power BI — DAX measures, fixing workflow errors, improving data prep.

• Experimented with machine learning (sentiment analysis) to customer feedback surveys to support root cause analysis.

• Streamlined the Tenders request process using Excel Online Scripts and Power Automate, cutting down manual handling and the risk of human error.

• Rebuilt dashboards with improved ingestion processes and usability, presenting findings back to stakeholders directly.

This role gave me a strong foundation in the commercial side of data work — and made it clear I wanted to go deeper on the engineering side, which led naturally to stepping up into the Analytics Engineer role.
