My career spans the full data stack. From front-of-house analytics and visualisations that inform senior stakeholders, to back-end data engineering, building reliable pipelines and ETLs that make data available for core decision making. I've worked across both the public and private sectors, with a particular focus on healthcare data.

Entrepreneurship
Alongside my career, I've been building. I'm drawn to entrepreneurship as much for the mindset it demands as for the outcomes it produces. Whilst I haven't found a "unicorn" so far, the fail-fast process compounds transferable learnings that can be applied in my career and for personal or community projects. The following are some ventures I have been involved with thus far.

I am also deeply passionate and active in my Sikh community. When I became an initiated Sikh, I felt strongly about fulfilling my duty and purpose. I do not make my Sikhi a hobby, but a framework to orient my life and guide my dedication in all aspects of it. As a Sikh, I strive to embody virtue, integrity, dedication and wisdom in everything I do, from my career to entrepreneurship and projects that support the advancement of my community.
For me, my religion is not meant to be boring bunch of rituals or mere beliefs in unfalsifiable things, but an active engagement in life long learning, development and to try leave the world around me in better state than I found it.

My hypothesis is that as AI replaces the novelty of knowing how to use tools or write in coding languages, those who will excel are the ones with the highest quality of ideas, an intuitive understanding of context, critical thinking, and the ability to articulate themselves effectively. This is the skillset/mindset I've been cultivating through the experiences above.
